Vicki is a chainsaw wielding Military Wife and former DJ with an Agroforestry farm in Aberdeen, who now works in TV & Film as a Location Assistant. Phew, that’s a mouthful isn’t it?! She has the most amazing personality, contagious energy and high levels of self-motivation, which makes her my kinda Woman! We met at our house in March 2023, when she was part of an TV crew, here to film some some scenes for season 2 of a top secret drama, not released at time of publication. She breezed onto location with an air of “let’s get shit done” but with the biggest, friendliest and approachable smile on her face. Needless to say we hit it off!
In this episode, Vicki tells me all about her journey from DJing in Inverness & Aberdeen to her current, and extremely rewarding, life in the South of England working in TV & Film, and describes her route into the Locations Dept, where she eventually found her place and her people. The conversation even turned to Strippers, and I don’’t mean paint strippers!! Vicki’s also a Mother by the way, and we didn’t even get a chance to talk about that, and what a cool Mum to have!
